INTERNATIONAL STEVEDORING has over 80 years of combined experience working in the port in all aspects.

International stevedoring founded by Kalin Pakraj started off as a dream and now strives to be one of the leading service providers of stevedore , delivering exceptional cargo handling solutions tailor-made to our clients while upholding the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

International stevedoring as a key link in the global logistics system is committed to ensuring the secure and efficient flow of cargo via ports and terminals. INTERNATIONAL STEVEDORING will utilize its proprietary state of the art IT system developed in conjunction with an external development house, this will provide seamless data transfer, vessel planning and execution. INTERNATIONAL STEVEDORING will utilise shipside wireless scanning systems enabling operations managers to manage all vessel operations and audit cargo to meet exact customer requirements, thereby ensuring all cargos are loaded or discharged in safely, according to specifications and on time. INTERNATIONAL STEVEDORING will be part of the Holding Group of companies and will be supported in terms of the existing Management structure and expertise, building infrastructure, mechanical workshop back up, available vehicle fleet, financial expertise and support personnel back up. The company’s management & operations team shares well over 80 years of experience in the industry. The simple hands-on corporate structure allows the company to respond quickly to challenges and provide innovative, tailored solutions. SYSTEMS EMPLOYMENT BY INTERNATIONAL STEVEDORING INCLUDE: QUALITY MANAGEMENT

•Detailed Customer KPI programmes. •Detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all operations. STEVEDORING SYSTEMS •Wireless Data Capture and reporting which is capable of covering all commodities. •Seamless data interfaces with our customers and suppliers. •In House programmers writing purpose built software to support our operations and customer requirements on demand. PLANT •Mechanical grabs and motorised grabs for discharging all types of bulk cargos. •20 foot and 40 foot container spreaders for loading and discharging containers as well as various lifting beams for handling multiple products and project and heavy lift cargoes. •Multiple electric pallet trucks, forklifts and various cages and spreaders for handling all types of palletized and food grade cargoes. •The necessary stevedore lifting equipment and tackle has already been purchased to enable INTERNATIONAL STEVEDORING to commence with stevedoring operations. •1 750 Tons sling bags catering for rice and sugar sector. TRAINING & ASSESSMENT •Certified training companies are used to train the personnel in the various courses as required in terms of the licence. •Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screening combined with full inductions into our various operations to ensure a safe and seamless progression for new employees entering the waterfront.
